On the island of Cres, on the plateau of nearly 400 meters, shackled to the top of the rocks you can find Lubenice. The Romans called this place Hibernicia and there they made a fort that was on the east side covered with a defensive wall with two doors. The small houses still have traces of a glorious past - open loopholes, walled in ship shafts and many others.
